BELL: The Business Ethics Links Library is currently undergoing a redesign. The new BELL 2.0 will
be available after May 1, 2013.
Scope: BELL is a
comprehensive starting point for research in corporate ethics
and social responsibility. The database provides access to
codes of ethics for U.S. companies and trade and professional
associations, ethics sites at college and university business
programs, industry information resources, and company
promotion of social responsibility covering such topics as
arts assistance, environmental clean up, charitable giving and
community programming.
Search Instructions: BELL accepts only literal
string searches. You can search by keyword in all databases
except the `Company Code of Ethics' which searches on company
name or ticker symbol only. For Associations and Regulatory
Agencies, you can search by organization name or keyword. If
your search does not result in a match, try variations. For
example, if you are interested in corporate policy for
environmental protection, you might try a keyword search in
the Corporate Social Responsibility database for
"environmental," "environment," "recycling," or "pollution."
Do not use boolean search operators or truncation. Select the
type of information you are seeking from the drop down box,
then enter your search term.
Please note that links to
corporate Codes of Ethics and information about corporate
social responsibility have been entered into separate
databases, so if you are looking for information about a
specific company, you may wish to try a search in both
sources.
For a list of BELL's suggested terms, review this list of keywords.
